ARISE Together In Christ
What is ARISE? To put it simply, ARISE is a spiritual renewal process. It is about creating small groups, small Christian communities, for faith sharing. Knowing how busy lives can become, this faith sharing is done in small groups of 8 to 10 over a period of six weeks (90 minutes each).

A faith sharing session usually begins with a modern written reflection leading into Scripture followed by reflection questions, quiet time and sharing. The session ends with some suggestions as to how to bring this topic back into our everyday lives. Why not give it some thought? This is a powerful opportunity to listen to the faith stories of other people, some you may not even know! How do you begin?

At this time, we are just completing Season Three! Season Four will coincide with the Lenten Season 2010. "Sign-up Sunday" will be held a few weeks before Lent at all the Masses. Fifteen different times to choose from have already been scheduled with an assigned leader(s). A small book will be made available at each group to guide you through the six weeks. Why not give it a try, it could be fun! For more information, please do not hesitate to call 781 961-5009.

Staff Meetings
Every other Friday morning the staff of St. Mary Parish, along with Father Coyne, Father Barry , Father Maffei and Deacon Jim Eames meets to discuss past, current and future events that impact the parish. We find that this form of communication allows us to make informative judgments and decisions as well as it allows us to creatively think of events that will bring joy, peace and well being to the spiritual, physical and financial development of the parish.

Music Ministry
The goal of the music ministry is to enhance the weekend and special liturgies wth inspirational and uplifting music. We have an Adult Choir that ministers through their singing at the 10:00 a.m. Mass every Sunday (formal choir September - May and informal choir June - August). Our repetoire consists of a wide variety of music ranging from contemporary praise songs to classical choral works. New members age 15 & up are always welcome. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evening from 7-8:30 from September through May. For more information, please see Felicia Kopelman-Hayes after any of the Masses, or call the Parish Center at (781) 963-4141.
